Container fill-level monitoring — Stargard, Poland

The client already had collection schedules and vehicles; what was missing was data. The system shows fill levels and confirms that a container was emptied.

For MB Recycling we deployed fill-level monitoring of containers for electrical waste. The client already had a set collection schedule and suitable vehicles, but needed real data on container status to match the collection arrangements to it.

A schedule based on real data

The sensors report how full the containers are, so the operator can analyse which locations need collecting more often and which can be served less frequently.

The data makes it possible to adjust the existing schedule and use the available vehicles better, instead of planning collections purely on fixed dates.

Certainty that a container was emptied

The system also reports the change in fill level after a collection. The operator can confirm the container really was emptied, without having to check in the field every time.

Data that improves logistics

This deployment was not about changing the whole collection process, but about supplying the data needed to improve it. Fill monitoring helps match the schedule to how the containers are actually used, and organise the fleet more effectively.
