The Soesterberg deployment was designed to fit the system to an existing collection arrangement, with no rebuilding of infrastructure. At the client's request we used the Offline variant, which needs no permanent network connection.

A system matched to the place

Access control does not always have to cover a whole network of containers. Sometimes a single critical point is enough — where unauthorised use is the problem, or where it must be known who used the container.

In Soesterberg the client chose the standalone Offline solution. The device works without a connection to a server, so it requires neither communications infrastructure nor network coverage at the installation site.

A small deployment, a specific solution

A single point can be a self-contained answer to a specific problem, or the start of a larger system. The iCober architecture lets the way it works be matched to the conditions and needs of a particular place.
